A while ago my dear mentor, friend and Aunt shared these words with me and I felt the need to share them with you.
No matter what you’re facing right now, stop, take a few minutes to read these words. Get away from all distractions around you and just be alone with Jesus.
If you don’t know Him or are fully surrendered to Him, now is the time to make that choice. You can only apply these words to your life IF you are a child of the King. Holy Spirit, the Comforter, and Counselor will reside in you which makes these words so much more alive.
Let me tell you about my happy place. I can go there anytime because it’s in my heart.
I am sitting with Jesus. I am in His embrace. I lay my head against His chest and just listen to His heartbeat. It is unlike any other sound. It calms me. Fills me. Empties me of all that weighs me down. It is peaceful. With every beat I feel a love that can be found no where but right there.
I feel His arms around me. I am safe. Nothing can touch me. I don’t have to worry or even think about anything else because He covers me.
I am His beloved. He is mine. He chose me. He made me exactly like He wanted me to be and I am worthy. I am His precious daughter.
He looks at me and smiles. I melt. He soothes my soul. Fills every longing. I don’t have to strive. I don’t have to achieve. Everything else falls away when I am in this place.
I am cherished. I can only find these things here. To look for them anywhere or in anyone else is impossible. They were never meant to fill that, be that or carry that. I have big needs and only my beloved Jesus can fill it. He is my all. If I have nothing in this world, I still have all I need in Jesus. ❤️ –Karen
John 14
15 “If you love me, you will keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever. 17 He is the Spirit of truth. The world is unable to receive Him because it doesn’t see Him or know Him. But you do know Him, because He remains with you and will be in you.
Romans 10
9 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. 10 One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. 13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
1 John 4
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
James 2
5 Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love Him?
Colossians 3
12 Therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and forgiving one another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you are also to forgive. 14 Above all, put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. 15 And let the peace of Christ, to which you were also called in one body, rule your hearts. And be thankful.
