How Are You Coping with 2020?

I really felt the need to share with you all what is helping me to cope during these times. Not only with the pandemic but as many others, there are a lot of situations that are totally out of our control. There are some of us dealing with job loss, marital issues and grieving the loss of loved ones.

Only the person involved can know his own bitterness or joy-no one else can really share it. Proverbs 14:10

So over the next couple of weeks I will share what has been helping me to contain the anxiety levels. These tools have and are helping my cope with situations we are going through right now.

Dr. Henry Cloud

I started this course a few months ago, literally costs less than $1.00 per day, less than $15.00 per month. It’s paying for less than a cup of coffee once a day and it’s helping the anxiety or whatever kind of issues you are dealing with. There are over 70 courses offered by a professional psychologist. They do ask you some questions and will fit you into the course or courses that will help you.

They are also offering a live 2 hour anxiety course online in the month of November. I will be attending this function, I love to learn and get as much information and help that I can. You can find the seminar information on boundaries.me, click on the link below.

This past August our family went through a tragic event, the death of our nephew, Joshua.

He was mixed up in the drug/gang world which cost him his life. I will share more about Josh in a future blog post. I had approached him about teen challenge, an organization that can help you to break off these chains. Most feel there is no other help with their battle of anxiety, panic attacks and depression so they drown it in drugs and alcohol. If I didn’t have Jesus as Lord of my life, this too would be my first choice of help.

Teen challenge is having a event on November 18 at 7:00pm where you will hear testimonials of many who made the choice to break the bondages they feel trapped in. Sometimes hearing others struggles can help put our own in perspective. Taking our eyes off of ourselves and seeing what others are going through does lessen the anxiety levels. Also if you or a loved one needs help, go on their website to find a location near you. Click on the link below.

Check these online options out and as I mentioned earlier, see the links below.

I will be sharing more information over the next couple of weeks.

Stay tuned.

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27
