Last night we were all out cleaning the calving barn and bottling some babies. We were presently surprised to see a huge blood red full moon. There were actual rays shining from it and it was so bright that it illuminated the sky around it. Never before had I seen anything like it! It was after 9:00pm and by 10:00 pm it looked normal again. We tried to capture it but didn’t do it justice. It was a sight to see. One of the many wonders of our God.

So often the Lord will speak to me through His Word. I’ve often had people say, “You can’t just randomly open your Bible and expect Him to speak to you.” But to both my husband and I He has. This morning I opened my Bible to this passage:
But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:1-2
I’m not sure what state your in this morning? If all the doom and gloom of the news is depressing you but hold fast to those promises by our Savior.
As a person who has an anxiety disorder I have chosen to delete the news from my phone. I have chosen not to watch it on tv, it’s full of doom and gloom that is so depressing. Anyone, no matter your struggle is bound to get depressed. There are choices we can make to help ourselves through this time, pray for His wisdom that you make the right ones. The world wants us all to fear but HE doesn’t.
As we are soon approaching one of the greatest celebrations of our Christian faith, Easter, look up to the One who created the moons, the One who will never leave us or forsake us!
“Worry is a cycle of inefficient thoughts whirling around a centre of fear.” Corrie ten Boom
