Great is Your Faithfulness

We never know what the future is going to hold. When I was in my early twenties, not fully surrendered to the Lord, living my life for me and no one else. I was working at a bank in a small community, my boss was a Christian and always treated me with such kindness. I didn’t really know his wife, Rachelle, but I really got to know her heart this last December.

My sister gave me this cute little devotional book for Christmas that she had no clue what it was all about.

Here it was written by Rachelle C. Bourassa, my former boss’ wife. Who also went through anxiety, panic attacks and depression! This little book has been a great encouragement to me and hopefully it can be to you too! It’s great if we can support our local authors. Here is the website you can find it at if your interested.

We are never alone in this battle, not only is the Lord with us but so many others that have the same struggle. Be encouraged that you are not alone.

Here is a little excerpt from her 30 day devotional. I think it’s very fitting for these uncertain time’s we are in right now.

Day Nine:

God is our refuge and strength. A very present help in trouble, therefore we will not fear. -Psalm 46:1-2a

The circumstances around us might look daunting with our physical eyes, creating fear, but this scripture tells us that we can take refuge in God in the midst of our troubles; therefore, we don’t have to believe or be afraid of what we see.

Have you heard of the acronym for fear, “False Evidence Appearing Real?” This is the kind of fear we need to say “no” to. We don’t want to see things that might look good and find out later that they were false. We want the fear of the Lord. We want to discern with the mind of Christ because HE knows all things.

There is more Rachelle has to share but you’ll have to pick up her book, “A Pocket of Encouragement.”

“ Call upon ME in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” -Psalm 49:19
